Texas DIR Covered Applications and Prohibited Technologies
DIR publishes, with the Governor and the Texas Cyber Command, a list of software and hardware prohibited from use on state-owned devices and networks; the hardware list, updated February 4, 2026, includes SZ DJI Technology and Autel Robotics. Separately, Government Code chapter 620 requires state and local governmental entities to bar covered applications from their devices.
