Texas Breach Notification
Requires notice after a covered breach of computerized sensitive personal information. Affected-individual notice is required as quickly as possible, without unreasonable delay, and no later than 60 days after determining that the breach occurred. Attorney General notice is due as soon as practicable and within 30 days when at least 250 Texas residents are involved. Statutory conditions and permitted law-enforcement delay remain applicable.
