Texas Automated Motor Vehicle Law
Establishes the Texas framework for automated motor vehicles, including operating conditions, commercial driverless authorization, first responder plans, and limits on local regulation. When the ADS is engaged, it is the statutory operator; traffic citations issue to the owner or, for an authorized operation, the authorization holder. Those rules do not by themselves determine civil liability after an injury.
