NHTSA ADS and ADAS Crash Reporting
The Third Amended Standing General Order requires the entities on its service list to report covered crashes involving ADS or Level 2 ADAS under the order's specified conditions and deadlines. ADS and Level 2 criteria differ. The order is a reporting requirement and does not establish that automation caused a reported crash.
